- How Much Does HubSpot Cost in the UK? \[2026 Pricing Guide\]

If you have tried to budget for HubSpot from the UK, you will recognise the frustration. The pricing page defaults to US dollars, the headline seat price is a limited-time promotion, several add-ons are never listed in sterling at all, and what you actually pay depends on a contractual rule most buyers discover only when the invoice arrives. Full disclosure: Whitehat SEO is a [HubSpot Diamond Partner](https://whitehat-seo.co.uk/hubspot-crm), so we have a commercial interest in you choosing HubSpot. We would still rather you went in with accurate numbers.

HubSpot changed how new customers buy in October 2026, so this guide now covers both models. The [new-customer pricing](https://whitehat-seo.co.uk/blog/hubspot-pricing-uk#new-pricing) was checked on **4 and 7 October 2026**; the hub-by-hub figures for existing customers were verified against [HubSpot's GBP pricing view](https://www.hubspot.com/pricing) and Terms of Service on **29 July 2026**. Every price is **exclusive of VAT**. Where a price is promotional rather than list, we say so. Where HubSpot publishes a figure in US dollars only, we tell you that instead of converting it and presenting a guess as a sterling list price.

## How Much Does HubSpot Cost in the UK?

The Short Answer

**New customers:** HubSpot is now sold as one edition with per-seat pricing. Its UK pricing page, as displayed on 4 October 2026, lists £0 (Free), £7 per seat per month (Starter, a limited-time offer), £81 (Professional) and £155 (Enterprise), billed annually.

**Existing customers** on hub-based subscriptions pay from £0 to £4,090 per month for the Customer Platform Enterprise bundle; most pay between £702 and £3,000 per month for Marketing Hub Professional or Enterprise, plus £40–£70 per additional Core seat and a one-off onboarding fee of £1,310–£6,090. All prices exclude VAT.

On the hub-based model that range is wide because HubSpot is not one product. It is a set of hubs sold on top of a shared CRM, priced through a mix of flat platform fees, per-seat charges, consumption-based AI credits and one-time onboarding. Two identically sized companies can pay very different amounts depending on which hubs they hold, at which tier, and how many people need full access. If you read one part, read the seat-pricing section — it is where most budgets go wrong.

## HubSpot's New Pricing for New UK Customers (October 2026)

**Buying HubSpot for the first time?** You no longer pick individual hubs. You choose one edition for the whole platform (Starter, Professional or Enterprise), pay per seat, and get a monthly allowance of HubSpot Credits for AI and automation. HubSpot's UK pricing page, as displayed on 4 October 2026, lists **£0** (Free), **£7 per seat per month** (Starter, a limited-time 65% discount), **£81 per seat per month** (Professional) and **£155 per seat per month** (Enterprise), billed annually. All prices exclude VAT.

HubSpot's UK pricing page was showing this edition model on 4 October 2026. If you already have HubSpot, you're most likely on the hub-based pricing set out below. HubSpot's terms do reserve the right to move legacy subscriptions to its current products, so ask your account manager what applies at renewal ([HubSpot pricing supplement](https://www.hubspot.com/flexible-seats-and-credits-pricing-supplement)).

### What the new editions cost

| Edition | Billed annually | Billed monthly | As shown by HubSpot |
| --- | --- | --- | --- |
| Free | £0/mo | £0/mo | No credit card required |
| Starter | £7/mo per seat | £9/mo per seat | Limited-time offer: 65% off (annual), 50% off (monthly) |
| Professional | £81/mo per seat | £90/mo per seat | — |
| Enterprise | £155/mo per seat | £155/mo per seat | Same price shown on both billing options |

Source: [HubSpot's UK pricing page](https://www.hubspot.com/pricing), as displayed on 4 October 2026. Prices exactly as shown, per seat per month, ex-VAT. The page doesn't say which seat type the per-seat price applies to, so we don't assign it to one.

### How seats work on the new model

One edition covers the whole account: HubSpot doesn't support mixing editions, and every seat is priced at the edition you buy. There are two kinds of paid seat:

- **A full-platform seat** for people who work in marketing, sales and service. It gives access to the marketing, sales and service tools in your edition, plus Breeze Assistant and Smart CRM. Every account needs at least one.
- **An operations seat**, on Professional and Enterprise only, for people who support customer-facing teams. It gives access to selected automation, reporting and governance features, and HubSpot lists it at a lower starting price than a full-platform seat.

HubSpot's pricing documentation calls these **GTM and Ops seats** (as of 7 October 2026; [HubSpot pricing supplement](https://www.hubspot.com/flexible-seats-and-credits-pricing-supplement)). HubSpot has revised that documentation more than once since launch, so plan around what each seat does rather than its name. On users, HubSpot's pricing FAQ says Free supports up to 2 users, Starter up to 10 paid users, and Professional and Enterprise more than 10; additional seats are charged per seat per month, at a cost that depends on your edition.

### Credits, records and limits

| Included | Starter | Professional | Enterprise |
| --- | --- | --- | --- |
| HubSpot Credits per month | 5,000 | 10,000 | 15,000 |
| Records (contacts, companies, deals and other objects) | 25,000 | 250,000 | 15,000,000 |

Source: [HubSpot pricing supplement](https://www.hubspot.com/flexible-seats-and-credits-pricing-supplement), 7 October 2026.

Credits power HubSpot's AI agents and automation. They reset monthly and unused credits don't roll over. If you need more, HubSpot sells capacity packs (a fixed extra monthly allowance) or bills Pay-as-You-Go overages per credit, invoiced monthly. Marketing contacts are no longer bought separately: they count towards your record capacity. Free accounts are limited to 3,000 records.

### Onboarding and support

HubSpot's pricing FAQ is direct about onboarding: *“Professional or Enterprise plans are required to purchase onboarding… Starter plans are not required to purchase onboarding.”* Starter includes email and in-app chat support; Professional and Enterprise add phone support. Whitehat delivers [HubSpot onboarding](https://whitehat-seo.co.uk/hubspot-onboarding) as a HubSpot Diamond Solutions Partner.

Professional is also the edition where HubSpot now lists “Get found in AI search engines” as a feature. If AI visibility is part of the reason you're buying, see how we approach [answer engine optimisation](https://whitehat-seo.co.uk/answer-engine-optimisation).

### How to price your own team

Take a 12-person UK B2B team on Professional: eight people in marketing, sales and service, two operations staff who build workflows and reports, and two directors who mostly read dashboards. Work through it in this order:

1. **Pick the edition** by the features you can't do without. It applies to the whole account.
2. **Count full-platform seats** for everyone who works in marketing, sales or service (at least one).
3. **Put operations staff on operations seats** where they only need automation, reporting and governance.
4. **Decide what the directors need.** If they only view reports, ask which seat, if any, that requires before you buy one.
5. **Estimate credit use** against the 10,000 a month included at Professional, and choose a capacity pack or Pay-as-You-Go for anything above it.
6. **Check records** against the 250,000 cap, now that marketing contacts count towards it.
7. **Add onboarding and 20% VAT**, then get the seat mix quoted in writing. HubSpot's UK page shows a headline per-seat price, not a price for each seat type.

## Pricing for Existing Customers: What Does Each HubSpot Hub Cost?

**Already a HubSpot customer?** From here on, this guide covers hub-based pricing, which existing customers (and quotes issued before October 2026) are on. These figures were verified on 29 July 2026.

Marketing, Content and Data Hub are priced as flat monthly platform fees with a few seats included; Sales, Service and Revenue Hub are priced per seat. Every price below is £ per month, ex-VAT, verified 29 July 2026.

| Hub and tier | Annual commit | Monthly | Seats included |
| --- | --- | --- | --- |
| Free tools | £0 | £0 | Up to 2 users |
| Any Starter hub *(promotional)* | £7 per seat | £9 per seat | Per seat; £18 is the list reference |
| Marketing Hub Professional | £702 | £780 | 3 Core seats |
| Marketing Hub Enterprise | £3,000 | Annual commit only | 5 Core seats |
| Sales Hub Professional | £77 per seat | £85 per seat | Priced per Core seat |
| Sales Hub Enterprise | £135 per seat | Annual commit only | Priced per Core seat |
| Service Hub Professional | £77 per seat | £85 per seat | Priced per Core seat |
| Service Hub Enterprise | £135 per seat | Annual commit only | Priced per Core seat |
| Content Hub Professional | £396 | £440 | 3 seats |
| Content Hub Enterprise | £1,310 | Annual commit only | 5 seats |
| Data Hub Professional | £630 | £700 | 1 Core seat |
| Data Hub Enterprise | £1,740 | Annual commit only | 1 seat |
| Revenue Hub Free | £0 + 0.5% payments platform fee | Same | — |
| Revenue Hub Professional | £77 per seat | £85 per seat | Priced per Core seat |
| Revenue Hub Enterprise | £125 per seat | Annual commit only | Priced per Core seat |
| Smart CRM (standalone) | £18 / £40 / £70 per seat | — | Starter / Pro / Enterprise |

All prices £ per month, ex-VAT, from HubSpot's GBP pricing view, verified 29 July 2026. Starter pricing is promotional and available to new customers only.

Two things catch people out. First, the Starter promotion: £7 per seat on annual commit is real today, but it is limited-time and new-customer-only — assume the £18 list price from year two onwards. Second, Enterprise is annual-commit only on every hub, so the 10% annual discount is not a choice — it is how the tier is sold.

### What About the Customer Platform Bundle?

If you want more than one hub, the Customer Platform bundle — all hubs at a single tier for one price — is usually cheaper.

| Customer Platform tier | Annual commit | Monthly | What you get |
| --- | --- | --- | --- |
| Starter *(promotional)* | £7 | £9 | 1 Core seat, all five Starter hubs, 1,000 marketing contacts |
| Professional | £1,139 | £1,270 | All hubs at Professional; included seat count not published |
| Enterprise | £4,090 | Annual commit only | All hubs at Enterprise; included seat count not published |

Note the gap in HubSpot's own disclosure: it does not publish how many seats are included at Professional or Enterprise, and we are not going to guess. Get the included seat count written into the Order Form before you sign — at Enterprise, two seats either way is £1,680 a year.

## How Does HubSpot's Seat-Based Pricing Work?

This section covers hub-based subscriptions; new customers buy seats differently (see [HubSpot's new pricing](https://whitehat-seo.co.uk/blog/hubspot-pricing-uk#new-pricing) above). On hub-based subscriptions, HubSpot has two seat types. A **Core Seat** gives a user full access to the tools in whichever hubs you hold, and it is the seat you pay for. A **View-Only seat** lets someone see records, dashboards and reports without editing, and it is **free at every paid tier** — an underused way to give finance and leadership visibility without buying licences. **Partner Seats** for your agency are also free, at HubSpot's discretion rather than by contractual right.

| Seat type | Starter | Professional | Enterprise |
| --- | --- | --- | --- |
| Core Seat (£/month) | £18 list | £40 | £70 |
| View-Only seat | Free | Free | Free |
| Partner Seat | Free (discretionary) | Free (discretionary) | Free (discretionary) |

The two contractual traps that cost the most money

**1. Core Seats bill at the highest tier you hold.** If you buy Marketing Hub Professional and a single Sales Hub Enterprise licence, *every* Core Seat in the portal reprices to £70 per month, not £40. Across 25 seats that is an extra £9,000 a year created by one Enterprise upgrade. Model the whole-portal impact before you upgrade any single hub.

**2. There is no mid-term downgrade.** Under HubSpot's [Terms of Service](https://legal.hubspot.com/terms-of-service) (§2.5) you cannot reduce tier or seat count during a contract term. If you over-buy seats in January on an annual commit, you pay for them until renewal. Buy the seats you need now and add later — adding mid-term is straightforward, removing is not.

## What Are HubSpot's Mandatory Onboarding Fees?

Professional and Enterprise hubs carry a one-time onboarding fee. It is not optional and sits outside the monthly subscription, which is why it so often misses the first budget. The fees below are for hub-based subscriptions; on the new single-edition model HubSpot also requires Professional and Enterprise customers to buy onboarding, so include it in your quote.

| Hub | Professional (one-time) | Enterprise (one-time) |
| --- | --- | --- |
| Marketing Hub | £2,600 | £6,090 |
| Sales Hub | £1,310 | £3,050 |
| Service Hub | £1,310 | £3,050 |
| Content, Data and Revenue Hub | No fee stated | No fee stated |

Buy Marketing Hub Enterprise and Sales Hub Enterprise together and that is £9,140 of onboarding before a single contact is imported — a real number for your year-one business case.

A word of honesty, because this is where partner marketing gets loose: HubSpot publishes **no policy** stating that a Solutions Partner can waive onboarding fees. Where partners reduce or absorb that cost it is commercial practice negotiated deal by deal, not documented policy, and we will not claim we waive it. What a partner genuinely changes is the quality and speed of the implementation — which is what our [HubSpot onboarding service](https://whitehat-seo.co.uk/hubspot-onboarding) is built around.

## What Are HubSpot's Hidden Costs?

Nothing here is concealed, but plenty is easy to miss until it appears on an invoice.

### HubSpot Credits, the AI meter

Credits (renamed from Breeze credits) are now a single pooled currency for AI features, at **£8.10 per 1,000 on annual billing** or **£9.00 monthly**. Smart CRM and Marketing, Sales, Service, Content and Revenue Hub include 500 credits a month at Starter, 3,000 at Professional and 5,000 at Enterprise; Data Hub and the Customer Platform bundle include 500, 5,000 and 10,000 ([HubSpot Product & Services Catalog](https://legal.hubspot.com/hubspot-product-and-services-catalog), checked 30 September 2026). **Unused credits do not roll over**, and the Customer Agent consumes **50 credits per resolved conversation** — a support team resolving 200 conversations a month burns 10,000 credits, double the Enterprise hub allowance.

### Marketing contacts

Starter includes 1,000 marketing contacts; additional blocks of 1,000 start **from £42 per month**. Professional and Enterprise block pricing is published in US dollars only, so we will not convert it and present it as a sterling list price. Ask your rep for the GBP rate in writing.

### API limits

Included daily API calls are 250,000 on Free and Starter, 650,000 on Professional and 1,000,000 on Enterprise. An additional million calls a day costs **£440 per month**. Check your call volume before signing if you run a data-heavy integration or middleware sync.

### HubSpot AEO and other new add-ons

HubSpot AEO, the answer-engine visibility product launched in 2026 and still in Beta, is **£40 per month on annual commit or £44 monthly** standalone, and is included with Marketing Hub Professional and Enterprise. An AEO Answers Limit Increase is £18 per month; a Conversational Context Limit Increase is £44. If answer-engine visibility is on your roadmap, our [AI and AEO services](https://whitehat-seo.co.uk/ai-seo-services) cover the strategy the tooling does not.

**Published in USD only:** dedicated IP, sandboxes, transactional email, additional root domains and record-limit increases all exist as paid add-ons, but HubSpot's [Product & Services Catalog](https://legal.hubspot.com/hubspot-product-and-services-catalog) lists them in US dollars, not sterling. Treat them as unpriced items on your risk register; we will not invent GBP figures.

## Do HubSpot Prices Include VAT?

No. HubSpot's Terms of Service (§3.6) state that for UK customers "all fees are exclusive of any VAT". Every price on HubSpot's pricing page, and every price in this guide, is ex-VAT.

What to expect on the invoice

UK customers contract with **HubSpot UK Holdings Limited**, a UK entity. On that basis you should expect **20% UK VAT** to be added to your invoice, recoverable as input tax if you are VAT-registered. HubSpot publishes no UK-specific VAT article, so treat 20% as the expected treatment rather than a documented guarantee and confirm it with your accountant before you finalise a budget.

Practically, a £702 per month Marketing Hub Professional subscription appears as roughly £842 gross. If you are VAT-registered the VAT is cash flow rather than cost; if you are not, add 20% to every figure here and treat it as real expenditure.

## What Does HubSpot Really Cost? Three UK Scenarios

Here is what three typical UK businesses pay on hub-based pricing, built from the figures above. All totals ex-VAT. New customers should use the [seat-mix steps](https://whitehat-seo.co.uk/blog/hubspot-pricing-uk#new-pricing) instead.

![Three UK business sizes compared by annual HubSpot cost — startup, growth company and enterprise](https://whitehat-seo.co.uk/hs-fs/hubfs/three-uk-businesses-of-different-sizes-side-by-sid-generated-20260729-173303.webp?width=1200&height=675&name=three-uk-businesses-of-different-sizes-side-by-sid-generated-20260729-173303.webp)

### Scenario 1: UK Startup, 5 Users

Five people on Customer Platform Starter, annual commit, needing 3,000 marketing contacts.

5 Core seats at £7 promotional rate: **£420 a year**
2 extra contact blocks at £42 per month: **£1,008 a year**
Onboarding: **£0** (no fee stated at Starter)
Credits: 500 a month included

**Year one total: £1,428 ex-VAT.** At the £18 list seat price, the same setup is **£2,088** — the number to budget for year two.

### Scenario 2: Growth Business, 25 Users

Marketing Hub Professional plus Sales Hub Professional, annual commit. Ten people need full sales functionality; the rest need Core access.

Marketing Hub Professional (3 Core seats included): **£702 per month**
10 Sales Hub Professional seats at £77: **£770 per month**
12 additional Core seats at £40: **£480 per month**
Subscription: **£1,952 per month, £23,424 a year**
Onboarding (£2,600 + £1,310): **£3,910 one-time**
Credits, at roughly 5,000 a month used against 3,000 included: **£194 a year**

**Year one total: £27,528 ex-VAT** (about £33,034 including 20% VAT). Ongoing years, roughly **£23,618**.

At this size Customer Platform Professional at £1,139 per month looks cheaper on the headline, but with the included seat count unpublished we cannot model it honestly. Get the seat allocation quoted in writing.

### Scenario 3: Enterprise, 50 Users

Marketing Hub Enterprise plus Sales Hub Enterprise, annual commit. Twenty sales users, the rest on Core access.

Marketing Hub Enterprise (5 Core seats included): **£3,000 per month**
20 Sales Hub Enterprise seats at £135: **£2,700 per month**
25 additional Core seats at £70: **£1,750 per month**
Subscription: **£7,450 per month, £89,400 a year**
Onboarding (£6,090 + £3,050): **£9,140 one-time**
Credits, at roughly 12,000 a month against 5,000 included: **£680 a year**

**Year one total: £99,220 ex-VAT.** Add the API limit increase at £440 per month and it becomes **£104,500**.

Note the highest-tier rule at work: those 25 Core seats bill at £70 rather than £40 purely because the account holds an Enterprise hub — £9,000 a year created by tier mix, not usage.

## Can You Negotiate HubSpot Pricing?

Some of it — but less than you might hope, and not where most people push.

![Negotiating a HubSpot contract renewal and discount terms](https://whitehat-seo.co.uk/hs-fs/hubfs/two-people-negotiating-a-software-contract-across-generated-20260729-173322.webp?width=300&height=300&name=two-people-negotiating-a-software-contract-across-generated-20260729-173322.webp)

**Annual commitment is arithmetic, not negotiation.** The discount is exactly 10% off monthly rates and holds consistently: £780 becomes £702, £85 becomes £77, £440 becomes £396, £700 becomes £630. Take it if cash flow allows, but it is not a concession you won.

**Live promotions are the real discounts.** Starter is currently running at up to 65% off for new customers, for a limited time. There is also a Revenue Hub cross-sell offer: bought alongside Sales Hub on annual commit, Revenue Hub Professional drops to £51 per seat from £85 and Enterprise to £88 from £125, for new customers.

**[HubSpot for Startups](https://www.hubspot.com/startups) is the biggest lever, if you qualify.** It gives 90% off in year one, 50% in year two and 25% in year three. Eligibility is limited to Pre-seed, Seed and Series A companies — Series B and beyond do not qualify — plus an approved partner affiliation or verified funding. A broader band offers 30% in year one and 15% in year two. Net-new Professional and Enterprise subscriptions only.

**Renewal is where to spend your negotiating energy.** Under Terms of Service §3.2, HubSpot may increase fees at renewal "up to our then-current list price", with 30 days' notice. The contract auto-renews unless you switch auto-renew off before the term ends, and there are no refunds on prepaid fees. So the practical ask is not a bigger day-one discount but a **contractual uplift cap written into the Order Form**, which overrides the standard terms. Cap the annual increase and you have protected years two onwards.

Two things we will not publish because HubSpot does not document them: a multi-year discount grid, and a charity or non-profit discount. If either is quoted as standard policy, ask to see it in HubSpot's own terms.

## Which HubSpot Tier Is Right for Your UK Business?

Tier choice should follow the feature you cannot do without, not headcount.

**Free** works while you are proving the concept with two users and manual processes. **Starter** suits teams needing HubSpot branding removed, simple email marketing and a real pipeline; at £7 to £18 per seat it is close to a rounding error.

**Professional** is the genuine step change and the tier most of our clients run: workflow automation, custom reporting, attribution, sequences and A/B testing. It also brings the £2,600 Marketing Hub onboarding fee, so the honest test is whether automation and reporting replace enough separate tools and manual hours to cover £702 per month plus onboarding. If not, stay on Starter another quarter.

**Enterprise** earns its money on governance rather than features: custom objects, permission granularity, multi-touch attribution, sandboxes and hierarchical teams. Remember it reprices every Core Seat in the portal to £70, so if one team needs a single Enterprise capability, price the whole-account impact first. Our [service pricing](https://whitehat-seo.co.uk/digital-services-pricing) shows how implementation cost sits alongside licence cost.

## How Does HubSpot Pricing Compare to Alternatives?

Salesforce is the only major alternative publishing [verified GBP list prices](https://www.salesforce.com/uk/sales/pricing/) per user per month, so it is the only one we will anchor against numerically.

| Salesforce edition | £ per user / month |
| --- | --- |
| Free | £0 |
| Starter Suite | £20 |
| Pro Suite | £80 |
| Enterprise | £140 |
| Unlimited | £280 |
| Agentforce 1 Sales | £440 |

On like-for-like seats the two are closer than folklore suggests: Sales Hub Professional at £77 sits just under Pro Suite at £80, and Sales Hub Enterprise at £135 just under Salesforce Enterprise at £140. The divergence is in what surrounds the licence — implementation effort, admin overhead and marketing functionality, which HubSpot bundles and Salesforce sells separately. For the feature-by-feature analysis, see our [HubSpot vs Salesforce comparison](https://whitehat-seo.co.uk/blog/hubspot-vs-salesforce); this guide stays on pricing.

We deliberately have not put Zoho, Pipedrive, ActiveCampaign or Dynamics 365 in a table: no verified GBP list price was obtainable for any of them, and publishing converted dollar figures as sterling list prices would mislead. ActiveCampaign also prices by contact volume rather than per seat, so it is not like-for-like anyway.

## What Changed in HubSpot Pricing in 2025–2026?

If you last priced HubSpot eighteen months ago, several things have changed.

**New customers moved to a single-edition, per-seat model** in October 2026, with monthly HubSpot Credits included at every paid edition (see [above](https://whitehat-seo.co.uk/blog/hubspot-pricing-uk#new-pricing)). Existing hub-based subscriptions carry on.

**Operations Hub became Data Hub** in September 2025, at the same price. **Commerce Hub became Revenue Hub** in 2026, expanding into full quote-to-cash.

**Agent Hub launched**, included with Marketing, Sales and Service Hub at Professional and Enterprise. **HubSpot AEO launched** as a new answer-engine product, in Beta, included with Marketing Hub Professional and Enterprise.

**Breeze Customer Agent was repriced on 14 April 2026** to $0.50 per *resolved* conversation — 50 credits rather than 100, and charged on resolution rather than every conversation.

**Smart CRM is now sold standalone** at £18, £40 and £70 per seat for Starter, Professional and Enterprise.

**One to watch:** Revenue Hub billing has no monthly charge yet, with the pricing model due in September 2026. If it is central to your plans, build a contingency into your 2027 budget.

## Frequently Asked Questions

Is HubSpot really free?

Yes, genuinely. HubSpot's free tools cost £0 with no time limit and support up to two users, covering basic CRM, forms, email marketing and live chat. Revenue Hub also has a free tier, though card payments carry a 0.5% platform fee. The limits are real: no workflow automation, HubSpot branding on assets, and 250,000 API calls a day.

How much does HubSpot cost per month in the UK?

For new customers, HubSpot's UK pricing page (as displayed on 4 October 2026) lists Starter at £7 per seat per month billed annually or £9 monthly, both limited-time offers; Professional at £81 or £90; and Enterprise at £155 on either. For existing hub-based customers, verified on 29 July 2026, Professional runs from £77 per seat for Sales Hub to £702 per month for Marketing Hub, and Enterprise starts at £135 per seat and reaches £3,000 per month for Marketing Hub. All figures exclude VAT.

Does HubSpot charge per user?

For new customers, yes: you pay per seat at your edition's rate, with a lower-priced operations seat available on Professional and Enterprise. On hub-based subscriptions, partly: HubSpot charges for Core Seats, which give full access, and gives View-Only seats away free at every paid tier. Core Seats cost £18 at Starter list price, £40 at Professional and £70 at Enterprise. The rule that catches people out is that Core Seats bill at the highest tier you hold, so buying a single Enterprise hub pushes every Core Seat in the account to £70 per month.

What are HubSpot's hidden costs?

The significant ones are one-off onboarding fees of £1,310 to £6,090 on Professional and Enterprise hubs, HubSpot Credits for AI features at £8.10 per 1,000 on annual billing, additional marketing contacts from £42 per month per thousand at Starter, and an API limit increase at £440 per month. Several smaller add-ons, including dedicated IP and sandboxes, are published in US dollars only rather than sterling.

Can you negotiate HubSpot pricing?

Some of it. Annual commitment is a fixed 10% discount off monthly rates, so that is arithmetic rather than negotiation. The genuine levers are the current Starter promotion of up to 65% off for new customers, the HubSpot for Startups programme at 90% off in year one for Pre-seed to Series A companies, and a contractual uplift cap written into your Order Form to control renewal increases.

Do HubSpot prices include VAT?

No. HubSpot's Terms of Service state that all fees are exclusive of VAT, so every price you see is ex-VAT. UK customers contract with HubSpot UK Holdings Limited, so expect 20% UK VAT added to your invoice, recoverable as input tax if you are VAT-registered. HubSpot publishes no UK-specific VAT guidance, so confirm the treatment with your accountant before you commit to a budget.

Is HubSpot worth it for a small UK business?

It depends how much of the platform you will use. A five-person team on Customer Platform Starter pays roughly £420 a year at promotional seat rates, or £2,088 including extra contacts at list pricing. Professional becomes worthwhile when you need automation, custom reporting and attribution, because at £702 per month plus £2,600 onboarding it has to replace several separate tools.

The list price is the easy part. Your real cost is decided by tier mix, seat allocation, credit consumption and the uplift cap you negotiate into the Order Form.

We will model your configuration against the verified GBP figures in this guide, show you where the highest-tier seat rule bites, and say plainly if a cheaper tier or a different platform is the better answer. No obligation.

Revenue Hub also has a free tier, though card payments carry a 0.5% platform fee. The limits are real: no workflow automation, HubSpot branding on assets, and 250,000 API calls a day."

For existing hub-based customers, verified on 29 July 2026, Professional runs from £77 per seat for Sales Hub to £702 per month for Marketing Hub, and Enterprise starts at £135 per seat and reaches £3,000 per month for Marketing Hub. All figures exclude VAT."

      "@type" : "Answer",
"text" : "For new customers, yes: you pay per seat at your edition's rate, with a lower-priced operations seat available on Professional and Enterprise. On hub-based subscriptions, partly: HubSpot charges for Core Seats, which give full access, and gives View-Only seats away free at every paid tier. Core Seats cost £18 at Starter list price, £40 at Professional and £70 at Enterprise. The rule that catches people out is that Core Seats bill at the highest tier you hold, so buying a single Enterprise hub pushes every Core Seat in the account to £70 per month."

Several smaller add-ons, including dedicated IP and sandboxes, are published in US dollars only rather than sterling."

The genuine levers are the current Starter promotion of up to 65% off for new customers, the HubSpot for Startups programme at 90% off in year one for Pre-seed to Series A companies, and a contractual uplift cap written into your Order Form to control renewal increases."

UK customers contract with HubSpot UK Holdings Limited, so expect 20% UK VAT added to your invoice, recoverable as input tax if you are VAT-registered. HubSpot publishes no UK-specific VAT guidance, so confirm the treatment with your accountant before you commit to a budget."

A five-person team on Customer Platform Starter pays roughly £420 a year at promotional seat rates, or £2,088 including extra contacts at list pricing. Professional becomes worthwhile when you need automation, custom reporting and attribution, because at £702 per month plus £2,600 onboarding it has to replace several separate tools."
